SUMMER CAMP TRAINING
The Expedition School guides and instructors have served summer camps around the world for over 20 years. In an effort to reduce risk and ensure camps operate at their best during their season, our team provides customized planning, training, and logistical support to meet the needs of each camp’s families and communities.
Voted top training provider by the American Red Cross for 10 years in a row, our instructor team brings over 50 years of education and experience. We continue to stay educated on the most current science, medicine, and policy to ensure all are as prepared as possible to deliver life changing experiences through camp.
A note for our Texas-based camps, we are continuing to monitor the changing rules and policy that HB1 and SB1 will bring about. Answers to many questions and concerns can be found at the Department of State Health Services.

Two Ways to Train
In-Person
Private in-person training is offered for groups, crews, teams, offices, etc. Contact us to discuss the goals and outcomes of this training and book a course!
Hybrid
Hybrid training combines a virtual lecture-based portion (always led by a live Expedition School instructor) with an in-person skills checkoff.
Three Ways to Recertify
Full Course
Attend a Full course with The Expedition School, either via in-person or hybrid model. Certifications Valid for 2 years. Great for first Time Expedition School Students.
Membership
Join the Expedition School as a recurring student, and gain access to our full continuing education program. 2 Year Recertification valid after all CE credits have been obtained.
Challenge
Schedule a private course with us to test out via written and practical skills exam. Upon successful challenge, Recertification valid for 2 years.
