Our mountain bike specific first aid class highlights the most pertinent parts of the Red Cross Wilderness and Remote First Aid Class as they apply to the sport. The Wilderness and Remote First Aid program is appropriate for audiences from youth-serving organizations as well as adults who participate in outdoor recreational activities or who work in wilderness or remote settings where emergency medical services (EMS) response is more than 1 hour away. \nOur Hybrid Courses offer a combination of online lecture with a live Expedition School Instructor\, and in-person practical skills. Both components must be completed in order to receive a certificate for the course. Our team will be in touch on scheduling the in-person skills. \nNOTE: Students must be in 100% attendance for all dates of this course for credit. \n*Prerequisites:\nCPR is a prerequisite to taking the NICA First Aid Course. Students must possess and show proof of a current CPR card to attend the NICA First Aid Course.
